Well, this Overcoat is a piece Meagan and I have been looking to make for ages, and now it's here and I'm just so pleased with it! A glorious, massive coat, to cover as much of your body as you can during inclement weather or just for fits and giggles. Ventile cloth is one of the most useful and high quality fabrics I've had the luxury of wearing. Light weight, windproof, highly water-resistant and 100% cotton fabric, Ventile is a densely woven plain-weave made with long staple cotton. Great for rain, wind, and even snow and I can promise I'll be wearing mine all through the winter, layered with a puffer taking on the tundra for Poppy walks. The interior cargo pockets were a fun addition to offer some extra space for things to keep out of the rain that doesn't just overload the hand pockets or force you to hold them. Tuck away your book, throw a light layer in for good measure or hide away the hat you got too hot to wear.

As always, these are patterned, cut and sewn by Meagan (Drozdowski Studio), her two hands, brain and heart (even the buttons are sewn on by hand :) in a tiny studio on a farm in Cariboo, BC.

How we measure

I suggest buying your most commonly purchased size for the intended fit. But this'll probs even be a great big size if you size down once, as long as the sleeve length works for you. Take a look at the size chart and please remember clothing sizes are not standardized, so choose the fit/shape/size that works best for YOU!

Best practice is to DRY-CLEAN ONLY!!!
